GETTING HERE

ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS GET HERE AND WE TAKE CARE OF THE REST

The retreat program runs from Sunday afternoon until Saturday morning. You are welcome to arrive on Saturday or leave on Sunday if the flights or train cannot accommodate you. You will find that traveling on a flight a day earlier or later can save you sometimes a € 100,= or more. There are a number of very nice hotels in Biarritz starting at a price of around € 60,= per night per room (Maison du Lierre - residence Biarritz Ocean - Hotel Radison Blu) .

We are happy to help you find the right way for you to travel to Biarritz and eventually a nice place for an extra night that suits your needs. just send us an email and we provide you with suggestions for your travel plans. We will still pick you up from Biarritz Airport, Station or Hotel on Sunday and bring you back to it at the end of your stay with us.

There are a few flights with RyanAir from different airports that fly out of the UK & Ireland and arrive into Biarritz Airport. The flights are short and if you book enough in advance you can get some really great deals. We often found that our train ticket from London  to Bournemouth was far more expensive then our flight ticket from London to Biarritz.

Train -  TGV

 London St -Pancras
 Biarritz EuroTrain

 Amsterdam / Rotterdam / Brussel
 Biarritz TGV-Europe

My personal favorite is travelling by train. Its relaxing, I see as much of France as I can see, and above all,  I can finish my latest book. You can choose for the fast TGV (Train de Grand Vitesse 300km p/h) or for a nighttrain with a reclining seat or a couchette with sleeping facilities. The train takes you directly into Paris Gare-Du Nord where you take the Metro to Gare-de Montparnasse. Both trainstations are suberb in my opinion and a very nice place for a cup of tea a newspaper or just to sit and enjoy watching the people. As soon as you leave the trainstation you will be in the centre of Paris. You can even plan your traintrip so that you can visit the Eiffeltower or the Louvre museum on the same day as your trip, or even better stay an extra day in Paris. If you book in advance you can get some great deals for the train and your hotel.

If you have any questions or need any help please let us know.

If you are considering coming by car or even better, by boat, please contact us if you have any questions about your trip, we will be happy to assist you.

Happy travels
